FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a client and a patient?

Our clients seek out our services directly, usually through referral from an existing client or patient. Our patients are referred to us from other medical professionals. Primary care physicians, chiropractors, physical therapists, dentists and orthodontists trust Restore to treat their patients.

Are the services performed at Restore covered by health insurance?

Restore does not participate with any health insurance provider, or bill insurance companies for services. However, many of our patients and clients use medical flexible spending plans to cover the cost of treatment.

Also, due to the treatment frequency of most treatment plans, the cost per session is kept below state average to make treatment more affordable.

What should I expect from my appointments at Restore?

Your first session with one of our therapists will involve a thorough history and assessment, followed by hands-on palpation and assessment of breathing, movement, muscles, connective tissue, and joints. We ask that our patients and clients wear loose-fitting shorts and a loose-fitting tank top to allow for an in-depth assessment.

Unlike traditional massage therapy, where the client is undressed and under sheets/covers, your Restore therapist may have you wear shorts and a tank top throughout your treatment plan sessions to maximize the use of certain myofascial and stretching techniques. However, some conditions may require more access to skin and require less clothing to be worn by the patient or client. Rest assured that your comfort and modesty is a priority for us, and your therapist will discuss this as part of your treatment plan.
